OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR SAFETY
You are our family and we take your health and safety very seriously, and want to make sure you are comfortable coming back to Weapons 9 Muay Thai. That means we're going above and beyond the CDC guidelines to make sure you and your loved ones stay safe.
Below, we've outlined our game plan that'll help keep all of us healthy as we come out of the lockdown and start training together again.
Keep in mind that this is just the beginning. We'll be constantly adding to our plan and we have even more strategies and upgrades coming in the near future. We'll be sure to update you as they go into effect.
Check out what we have in place already:HOW OUR STAFF IS KEEPING YOU SAFE
W9 Instructors Will Wear Masks at All Times to Protect You
At Weapons 9 Muay Thai, we are here to serve you, and your health and fitness is our number one priority. Your coaches will wear masks at all times to keep you safe and feeling comfortable.
W9 Instructors Will Have Impeccable Hygiene Practices
We lead by example here, washing our hands before and after every session and using hand sanitizer before we touch any equipment.
W9 Instructors Will Have Limited Physical Contact With You
As much as we love hugs, high fives, fist bumps and daps and hands on coaching, your safety is more important to us. We want to do everything within our power to create a safe and comfortable workout environment so you don't have to worry. The coaches have been rehearsing and practicing coaching in the new environment for months. They have designated areas to stand in, move to, and coach from to maintain social distancing. The coaching you receive will be just as good, if not better, than you are used to!
W9 Instructors Will Have Routine Temperature Checks
Each staff member will have their temperature checked before the start of their shift. If a staff member has a temperature above 100.4 degrees, they will not be coaching for working that day. You don't have to worry though, a coach will be ready to step in so nothing will change on your end.
ELEVATED CLEANING PROTOCOLSWe've always prided ourselves on having a clean facility, to take that to the next level, we've consulted with a number of healthcare professionals and professional cleaning services to help us put the best and safest plan in place for you.
Based on that expert advice, here's what we're doing at Weapons 9 Muay Thai:
Professional Cleaning Service with Electrostatic Disinfectant Spraying
We've hired professionals to come in and spray every inch of our facility along with every piece of equipment. This new disinfectant sprays more evenly, gets hard-to-reach crevices, and sticks to every surface it coats, and is proven to kill viruses like COVID-19.
Additional Hand Sanitizer, Gym Towels and Disinfectant Cleaning Spray
It's incredibly important that our members have unlimited access to hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes, so we've increased the number of stations for both throughout the facility. There will be disinfectant spray and hand sanitizer easily accessed throughout the facility, so you'll never be more than a few feet away if you need to disinfect your hands or any equipment.
EPA Registered Products
Not all disinfectants are made equally and only certain products are recognized by the EPA as effective against COVID-19. All products at King Strength & Performance are registered by the EPA and capable of killing COVID-29 within 60 seconds of contact.

NEW JERSEY STATE GUIDELINES FOR GYMS REOPENING
WHAT TO EXPECT IN OUTDOOR SPACES FOR GYM
Gyms and fitness centers must institute the following policies:
- Limit total capacity of any outdoor area to a number that ensures that all individuals can remain six feet apart
- Require workers and customers to wear cloth face coverings while indoors and in outdoor areas when social distancing is difficult to maintain, except where doing so would inhibit that individual's health
- If a customer refuses to wear a cloth face covering for non-medical reasons, then the business must decline the individual entry into the indoor premises
- Limit occupancy in restrooms that remain open to avoid over-crowding and maintain social distancing through signage and, where practicable, the utilization of attendants to monitor capacity
- Require frequent sanitization of high-touch areas
- Limit the use of equipment rented or otherwise to one person at a time, excluding immediate family members, caretakers, household members, or romantic partners, and sanitize such equipment before and after use
- Require reservations, cancellations and prepayments be made via electronic or telephone reservation systems to limit physical interactions
WHAT TO EXPECT IN INDOOR SPACES FOR GYMS
Gyms and fitness centers must institute the following policies:
- Limit occupancy of any indoor premises to 25 percent of the stated maximum capacity, if applicable, at one time, excluding staff.

- Conduct a temperature screening and questionnaire of staff and clients upon entrance to the facility.
- If individuals attending outdoor classes enter the center premises, whether to use a restroom or otherwise, they must be included in the capacity limit indicated above.
- Require workers and customers to wear cloth face coverings while in the indoor portion of the premises, except where doing so would inhibit that individual's health or where the individual is under two years of age.
- If a customer refuses to wear a cloth face covering for non-medical reasons and if such covering cannot be provided to the individual by the business at the point of entry, then the business must decline the individual entry into the indoor premises.
- One-on-one personal training can occur assuming 6 feet of distance can be maintained for the majority of the training session.
- Individual or pair activities which do not involve contact (e.g., racket ball, handball) can also occur.
- Keep doors and windows open where possible and utilize fans to improve ventilation.
